Ingredients

11 oz Steamed Blackeyed Peas

9 oz Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes, boiled

½ tsp Salt

1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

½ tsp Lemon Pepper

½ tsp Garlic Salt
-
1 egg
-
¼ cup Breadcrumbs
-
½ cup Mayonnaise
-
1 tablespoon Melissa’s Sriracha
Directions
In a food processor, blend black eyed peas, boiled DYP potatoes, salt, Worcestershire, lemon pepper, garlic salt, 1 egg, and ¼ cup breadcrumbs.
Pulse until roughly combined enough to make patties. It’s ok if a few peas or pea chunks still remain.
Scoop out balls and roll and flatten them in between your hands to create patties.
In a sauté pan, sear patties and finish them off in a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes until completely warmed through and until patties are dried enough to handle.
While patties are in the oven, mix mayonnaise with sriracha.
Smear sriracha mayo on slider buns and top with your favorite burger accompaniments.
