Dutch Yellow® Potatoes or DYPs®, are the perfect small potato for any occasion. Grown in nutrient-rich volcanic soil, DYPs® are produced under the best conditions possible. These potatoes are round with golden yellow skin and creamy yellow flesh. DYPs® have a rich texture with a mixture of buttery and nutty flavors and the perfect amount of starchiness. Naturally resistant to greening and sprouting, they're convenient to use and have a great shelf life.

DYPs® are perfect for using when you want your potatoes to retain shape. You can essentially do anything with this variety; bake, broil, roast, grill, simmer, steam, sauté or boil them.

Look for firm, well shaped, and relatively smooth potatoes. Avoid potatoes that have wrinkles or any bitter green discolorations. Also avoid potatoes that show signs of sprouting, wilting or decay. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area.

Microwave Instructions:

Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes – 1 pound
Remove the potatoes from the package and pierce them with a fork. Place them in a re-sealable plastic bag or a microwave-safe bowl covered with plastic wrap. Leave the containers slightly open in order to vent. Microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes or until fork tender. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.

Dutch Yellow® Peewee Potatoes – 12 oz.
Remove the potatoes from the package and pierce them with a fork. Place them in a re-sealable plastic bag or a microwave-safe bowl covered with plastic wrap. Leave the containers slightly open in order to vent. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes or until fork tender. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.

Boiling Instructions:

Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes – 1 pound
Cover potatoes with cold water (about 1 inch of water above potato line). We recommend cold water so that the potatoes cook evenly.  Bring the water to a boil and allow potatoes to cook for 10-15 minutes or until fork tender.
