4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 pounds carrots - peeled; halved lengthwise
2 Granny Smith Apples - peeled; diced
1/2 jar Melissa’s Orange Habanero Salsa
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 tablespoons brown sugar
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add the carrots, cover and sauté for 8 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and sauté for 5 more minutes, stirring often.
