5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2 cloves Melissa’s Peeled Garlic - minced
1 (8 oz.) package Button Mushrooms - cleaned; ends trimmed; quartered
1/8 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1/8 teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
2 cups Heavy Cream
2 cups Parmesan Cheese - shredded
3/4 cup Fresh Basil - chopped
1 package Melissa’s Heavenly Villagio Marzano® Tomatoes - halved
2 packages Melissa’s Hearts of Palm Pasta
In a pot, melt the butter and add the garlic. Simmer for 30 seconds and then add the mushrooms.
Season with salt and pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. Whisk in the cream. Bring to a simmer and gradually whisk in the cheese.
Stir in the basil and continue to cook, stirring often, until thickened, about 8-10 minutes. Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Mix in the pasta and serve.
