Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed

2 eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 pinch kosher salt

1⅔ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup Dried Tart Cherries

1 cup hazelnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Cream the butter and the granulated sugar. Add the brown sugar, eggs and the vanilla and mix until well combined. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Fold in the chocolate, cherries and hazelnuts. Using a spoon, drop tablespoon size portions of the cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let cool on wire racks.

Creaming Method:
- In an electric mixer, mix the butter and sugar until it turns very light and fluffy.
