Ingredients
-
1 cup fresh strawberries
-
1 cup cherries, stems intact
-
1 cup dragon fruit slices, cut into heart shapes
-
1/2 cup pomegranate arils
-
4 small crepes, folded into love letter shapes
-
1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
-
1/2 cup white chocolate, melted and dyed pink
-
Edible pearl sprinkles (optional)
-
Small red fondant hearts for garnish (optional)
Directions
Prepare the Fruits: Wash and dry all fruits thoroughly. Cut dragon fruit into thin slices and use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to create heart-shaped pieces.
Dip the Fruits: Melt dark and pink-dyed white chocolate in separate bowls. Dip strawberries, cherries, and dragon fruit hearts halfway into the chocolate. Place them on a parchment-lined tray and sprinkle with edible pearls, if desired. Allow the chocolate to set.
Assemble the Love Letters: Take pre-made crepes and fold them into rectangles, sealing the edges with a dab of melted chocolate to mimic a love letter. Add a small fondant heart to the center as a “seal.”
Plate the Dessert: Arrange the dipped fruits, pomegranate arils, and crepes on a black plate for a dramatic presentation. Layer the elements thoughtfully for a visually striking spread.
Serve and Enjoy: Pair with your favorite sparkling beverage for the perfect Valentine’s Day treat.
