½ pound Strawberries – sliced

2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar

2 Store Bought Pound Cakes

2 cups Heavy Cream

2 tablespoons Powered Sugar

2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract

2 Melissa’s Vanilla Beans

Directions
In a bowl, add all the berries and stir in the granulated sugar. Set aside.
Cut each pound cake, lengthwise, into three pieces. Set aside.
In the bowl of a standing mixer, add the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Split the vanilla beans lengthwise and scrape the pulp into the bowl. Whip to firm peaks.
To build the torte, place one slice of cake on a flat surface. Spread whipped cream on top. Using a slotted spoon, add a layer of berries. Drizzle with the chocolate sauce. Repeat the process for the remaining ingredients. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
Drizzle the torte with chocolate sauce and dust with powdered sugar. Slice the torte and serve.
