Sunshine Watermelons belong to the Cucurbitaceae family, including squash, pumpkin, zucchini and cucumber, and the season runs from May through September.

This new and visually unique seedless watermelon variety is characterized by its small, round size, smooth tiger-striped skin, and brilliant juicy sweet interior red flesh, averaging about 4.4 pounds.

Watermelon is 100% usable; consider using in a variety of culinary applications; juice, puree, glaze, grill, compress, pickle, infuse, carbonate, make fancy foams — you name it!

Best melon pairings include mushrooms, vanilla, toasted nuts, ham, bacon, and wine. Surprise pairings include clams, olives, corn and mustard.
