The Jeju mandarin is well renowned for its superb taste. These mandarins are grown exclusively on Jeju Island, just south of the South Korea peninsula. These mandarins grow in rich volcanic ash soils and in a temperate climate. The island also has an abundance of sunshine, thanks to the typical warm temperate zone and tropical oceanic climate. All these conditions make it ideal for producing sweet, juicy, and low-acid mandarin fruit. Finally these fruits are seedless and easy to peel. A lot of care goes into these fruit from field to table. There is a highly structured quality production and advanced farm distribution system in place which includes the fruit undergoing a proprietary clean and safe production process as well.

Choose a tangerine that feels heavy (juicy) for its size with a soft but not wrinkled skin that is bright, not dull in color. The fruit will stay fresh two weeks under proper refrigeration.
