Avocados, Removing the Flesh
To carefully cut the avocado in half, place washed fruit on a non-skid cutting board and cut around the fattest part of the fruit. Twist the two halves to open and reveal pit.
Remove the pit by gently squeezing the fruit, pushing out the pit.
Using a large tablespoon, run along the inside of the avocado between the skin and the meat, scooping the flesh out of the shell and cut as needed, or place cut side up and slice fruit into quarters, then peel off skin.
