1 pound kohlrabi, tops removed, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Cook the slices of kohlrabi, uncovered, in a pot of boiling salted water until tender, 15 to 20 minutes depending on size.
Drain. Toss with 1 tbsp. of the butter and salt and pepper.
Put the cooked, seasoned kohlrabi in a shallow baking dish that is coated with the remaining 1 tbsp. of butter.
Sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese. Put under the broiler until the cheese has melted.
