This is a relatively easy dish that takes less than 15 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients

1 cup peanut oil

1¼ pounds organic tofu, cut into 1 x 2 pieces

3 tablespoons lemon grass, finely chopped

1 red chile pepper, finely chopped

2 cloves organic garlic, chopped

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon Chinese 5-Spice

Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the peanut oil in a deep pan. Add the tofu and fry until browned, then drain on paper towels and set aside.
In a separate sauté pan or wok, sauté the lemongrass, chili, and garlic in hot vegetable oil until soft.
Add the tofu and mix well. Season with the Chinese 5-Spice, salt and pepper, and serve.
Recipe Note
For even easier preparation, fried tofu called Name Age (pronounced namay agay) is available at many major supermarkets.
