Ingredients

½ Melissa’s Perfect Sweet Onion

4 cloves Melissa’s Peeled Garlic

¼ cup Green Bell Pepper, diced

¼ cup Melissa’s Roasted Red Bell Pepper, diced

2 Chipotle Chiles, chopped fine

2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
-
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
-
1 tbs Melissa’s Costa Azul Hot Sauce Sriracha style

½ tsp Cumin
-
1 ½ Tablespoon Melissa’s Agave Syrup
-
1 tsp Molasses
-
½ tsp Mustard Powder
-
½ tsp Coriander
-
2 Packages Melissa’s Steamed Blackeyed Peas
Directions
In a sauté pan, cook onions over medium heat until translucent. Add red and green bell peppers, chipotle chiles. Sauté for 2 minutes then add garlic and continue to cook for an additional minute.
Add all spices, Worcestershire, soy sauce, sriracha, agave, molasses and black eyed peas.
Turn heat down to a simmer and let mixture reduce until syrupy, about 5-7 minutes.
Enjoy as a side dish or over rice!
