1 (11 oz.) package Butterscotch Morsels
1 (12 oz.) package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1/2 cup Unsalted butter
4 Room Temperature Eggs
1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
4 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
2/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 (4 oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar - broken into pieces
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butterscotch, chocolate morsels and butter, stirring often, about 5 minutes. Once melted, remove from the heat to cool to a warm temperature.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla to a ribbon stage. Mix the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt and mix into the chocolate mixture. Fold in the chocolate pieces. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
Drop large spoonfuls of the batter onto parchment lined baking sheets, 3-inches apart. Bake in the oven for 12-13 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
