Its creator is up for debate, but this lesser known sister of the Manhattan is especially refreshing with fresh squeezed Ojai Pixies. The perfect gin sidekick to mimosas or simply a quencher on a warm day.
2 oz. Gin
½ oz. Dry Vermouth
½ oz. Sweet Vermouth
1 Ojai Pixie Tangerine, juiced
Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 full of ice.
Add the gin, both Vermouths and the tangerine juice.
Cover and shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds.
The key to a good drink is fresh ice and fresh squeezed citrus.
Though not the same, if Ojai Pixie Tangerines are not in season, fresh Cara Cara Oranges, Heirloom Navels, or three Kishu Mandarins will be good stand-ins.
