A delicious alternative to fresh Fava beans for today’s busy consumer, these beans are peeled, steamed and ready-to-eat right out of the vacuum sealed bag, with very little preparation.
They can be heated up in the convenient microwave wrap or cooked on the stovetop in boiling water.
Fava beans work well in any vegetable sauté or simply served by themselves with a little butter, salt and pepper. Try frying them on high heat, causing the skin to split open and then add salt for a savory, crunchy snack.
